ABOUT
OUR CLINIC

The Cat Hospital of Collin County was first started in 2002 by
Dr. Dana Crigger. A Texas A&M Magna Cum Laude graduate in Veterinarian medicine, she started her carrier in Allen working with Dr. Mike Overton whom gave her the roots and vision to start a family style clinic focused on cats. There was a need for a clinic aimed at helping both cats and their people in a friendly supportive environment. Later on she was able to add her husband Allen Crigger to resume the role of office manager (and multi tasker) that her mother JoAnne Barnes originally had. Today the clinic staff has just two people that you will see every time you visit that being both Dr. Dana and Allen Crigger. This is a small clinic aimed at the overall health care focused exclusively on cats. While we provide a majority of services needed for cat care, specialists are often referred to for their further expertize in certain fields such as Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency and or ICU care.
